About

The Spinal Cord Society, NW Chapter:

The Spinal Cord Society (SCS), Northwest Chapter, is a Seattle,
Washington based non-profit-all-volunteer organization, with
members throughout the northwest.  Formed in 1979, efforts are
dedicated to financing research for spinal cord injury cure
research.  Every dollar raised is forwarded to the Spinal Cord
Society (SCS) National Headquarters.   The SCS independent
research facility is located in Fort Collins, Colorado and
supported by donations.

Our annual Golf Tournament/Auction was started in 1996, which
netted a modest $8,000.  On June 13, 2005, we celebrated our
ten-year-tournament anniversary by reaching our accumulative
goal of $1,000,000.  This was made possible by the support of
our dedicated volunteers, donors, sponsors and loyal corporate
sponsors A & H Hallmark Stores, Inc., Rich Hendrickson,
President and Safeway, Inc.
